Saturday Clinic Update
CLINIC CANCELED DUE TO RAIN & FIELD CONDITIONS
Unfortunately, the rain had other plans for us. With continued rain and wet field conditions, we will not be able to hold today’s clinic.
Today’s Update
We held out hope, but the rain has continued and the field is simply too wet for today’s clinic.
We are disappointed not to get everyone on the field, but we will plan another event soon.
Thank you to everyone who planned to join us and to everyone who took the time to RSVP. We appreciate your interest in HC Baseball and hope to see you at a future clinic.
A Special Thank You
There is a little irony in all this.
Drake, Wade, and Kent spent Thursday putting in hours of hard, physical work getting Tippy ready to play — pulling weeds, working the infield by hand with hoes, mowing, cleaning up, and doing the kind of work that most people never see.
We are also incredibly grateful to the Meisner family for loaning us a mower when ours broke, and to Abbie and Drake for making the trip to Huntsville to pick it up and bring it back so the job could be finished.
They worked in dry, dusty conditions all day getting the field ready. A few hours later, the rain started.
Of course it did.
But the rain does not erase the effort. We are deeply thankful for the people who continue to give their time, energy, and heart to make sure HC Baseball has a field ready to play on.
Of Course It Rained…
Want to see just how far the field came? We shared before-and-after pictures along with a little more about the work that happens behind the scenes at HC Baseball.
