National Champions — Playing for Coach Clay
May 9, 2025
They did it.
HC Baseball is coming home from NACA as National Champions.
The Angels went undefeated through the tournament, battled their way through every game, and finished the week exactly where they wanted to be — on top.
But this one meant more.
This team took the field carrying Coach Clay with them.
Every inning, every pitch, every at-bat, every hard-fought moment came with the weight of what he built and the legacy he left behind. HC Baseball has always been about more than the final score, and this week was a reminder of just how much can live on through a team, a family, and a group of players determined to keep going.
They played hard. They played together. They refused to quit.
And on May 9, 2025, they finished the job.
Undefeated!
National Champions!
For Coach Clay!
This championship joins 2016 and 2019 in HC Baseball history, giving the Angels their third NACA National Championship.
Congratulations to every player and coach who poured themselves into this week. You earned this one!
And Coach Clay — this one is yours, too!
